In my own words

Beyond the Scorecard

What are your goals in golf?

“My goal is to play high-level collegiate golf and continue developing into the best player I can be. I've spent the past eight years competing in tournaments, and I want to keep challenging myself against stronger competition. I know there's still a lot I can improve, and I'm excited to see how far my game can go.”

What do you love most about competitive golf?

“I love the competitive atmosphere of tournament golf. The adrenaline and nerves actually help me focus and play better. I enjoy being in those situations where every shot matters and having the opportunity to perform at my best under pressure.”

What has golf taught you about yourself?

“Golf has taught me how to deal with adversity and how important hard work and commitment are. When things aren't going my way, I've learned to stay resilient and keep working until I can turn things around. Coming back from difficult moments has taught me a lot about myself and what I'm capable of.”

What are you most looking forward to about college golf?

“I'm most excited about being part of a team. Golf has always been an individual sport for me, and I think it would be an incredible experience to compete alongside teammates, support each other, and work toward something bigger than just my own results.”
